The transition period for the Home survey standard comes to an end today. This means that from 1 September users will be unable to publish forms on Worksmart. The publish button will be removed on 1 September.
Ensuring that all data and applications were ready for Monday morning was always a challenging task. The cutover has gone well but to ensure that D365 is 100% ready to start supporting our business as usual activities we need to take an additional day to complete our assurance and process checks.Proforms users who log into the system using the Login with RICS option will be unable to log into Proforms or access any of their reports during this time.
As part of our commitment to deliver a digital experience which adds value to the profession, we are adopting a modern cloud-based enterprise business platform.During the scheduled downtime for the roll-out, Worksmart users will be unable to publish reports. Proforms users who log into the system using the Login with RICS option will be unable to log into Proforms or access any of their reports during this time. Other Proforms customers will be unable to create or publish forms.
On 31 March 2021, Worksmart will only remain open to complete existing reports and for users to access historical reports until 31 August 2021.Please note that from 1 April 2021, no new reports will be able to be created on Worksmart.The new version of Proforms can be accessed at https://proforms.rics.org.
The new RICS Home Survey Standard came into effect on 1 March 2021. To support the new standard, RICS have launched new versions of the Home Survey reports, a new software solution, and supporting materials.
RICS Worksmart will be closing and a new version of RICS ProForms containing the new home survey reports has been released and can be accessed at https://proforms.rics.org.
Please note the following key dates:
From 11 March 2021, credits sales will be withdrawn, but Worksmart will remain available for completion of any reports in progress.
From 31 March 2021, Worksmart will only remain available for completion of any existing reports and for users to access historical reports until 31 August 2021.
From 1 September 2021, Worksmart will be closed.
There is currently a known issue affecting Mac and iOS users who will not currently be able to login to the new ProForms platform. The temporary workaround is to use Chrome or another browser.
A long term fix is currently being investigated which should solve this issue.
The publishing issues that some of our customers experienced this morning have now been resolved. We apologise for the inconvenience this caused. Thank you for your patience.
We are aware that some users are experiencing issues publishing reports. We are investigating these issues and will update you as soon as they are resolved. We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.
The lookup function is unfortunately no longer working and cannot be fixed in time for the launch of the new ProForms platform. Users can still input addresses manually to find reports.
We apologise for this inconvenience and the functionality will be restored on the new platform when launched in 2021.
A small number of users have today experienced difficulties in publishing reports. These users have found that removing and re-adding their licence key has fixed these issues. We are currently investigating the root cause of the issues and hope to ensure that no-one else is affected, but should you experience difficulties, please try removing and re-adding your licence key.
We are aware of the issues a few users are having in relation to saving and missing text on reports and are currently investigating this fault.
Please bear with us in the meantime and we will keep you updated on our progress.
Until the issue is resolved, we recommend users always generate a PDF preview of their reports before publishing. Should your report be suffering from any missing text issues it will be visible in the PDF preview.
1. For reports that do have missing text in the PDF preview please retype a test sentence and generate a new PDF preview.
2. Should the text appear in the new preview then please continue to re-enter the missing text as normal, again using the PDF preview function before publishing.
3. If the report does not show the test sentence please try copying the report (details of how to do this can be found on the isurv WorkSmart Help pages) and amending the copied version instead. Repeat the steps of using a test sentence and PDF preview before continuing to amend fully and preview once more before publishing.
Our customer support staff will be able to talk you through the above steps if required, however they will be unable to retrieve any work which has been lost

Today we are improving isurv WorkSmart, by rolling out a few enhancements and changes our users suggested we make.
* Static navigation buttons and menu options.
* A completely new saving system including a processing indicator.
* Text can now be copied and pasted with formatting intact.
Alongside these usability enhancements we have also made tweaks to the system improving the functionality and stability of isurv WorkSmart.
